Romans 11 | The Repentance of the Jews and the Glory of God

Recently, there has been a resurgence of dislike for Jews in our culture. The exposure of some of the Epstein files, the awareness of overrepresentation of Jews in illicit businesses, and the awareness of sinful talmudic teachings has had significant blowback. It is understandable. After Afterall, Jesus calls unbelieving Jews “The Synagogue of Satan” (Revelation 2:9, 3:9) and John calls them “antichrists” (1 John 2:18-27).

Yet, hating a people group for their ethnicity is sin. We should neither fawn over unbelieving Israel, nor should we hate unbelieving Jews. We should pray for their repentance and faith in Christ. Romans 9-11 gives us a clear overview of how we should view unbelieving Israel: we should look with joyful expectation at their future repentance and faith in Christ. This week, Pastor Dan walks us through Romans 11 and the tremendous plan of God to bring Himself glory through their salvation. Thus, we should not “boast against the branches.”
