Hebrews 7-8 | Greater High Priest for a Greater Covenant

Hebrews 7-8 | A Greater High Priest for a Greater Covenant

Daniel Samms

Hebrews is about how the Old Covenant and everyone associated with it points forward to the New Covenant in Christ. Christ Jesus is our Great High Priest who ministers a New Covenant that is greater than the old one. The Old Covenant ways are obsolete. God calls both Jews and Gentiles into the New Covenant in Christ, so there is no cause to continue in “Judaism.”
