Baptism is an outward proclamation of an inward decision to follow Jesus. If you have trusted Jesus, you are in.  Baptism is simply an outward proclamation of an inward decision to follow Jesus.  It doesn't save you; Jesus does.  However, it is really important.  Don't wait around to get baptized.  Have the person who led you to Christ dunk you in some water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20) or contact us (dan@restorationamherst.org) to set up a time to get baptized. You don't have to have everything together to get baptized.  In fact, you shouldn't wait until your life is together.  The only requirement is that you trust Jesus.  Are you in? 

We are going to meet at Lakeview Park to baptize anyone who wants to publicly proclaim their commitment to follow Jesus.  Invite your friends.  Tell the world.  The Kingdom of God has come near. 

We will gather from 9am-noon to pick up trash, sweep, and otherwise serve the community while praying and connecting with neighbors.  Be sure to let us know you are coming!  It will be a good day! 

First Sunday Worship Service May 1st at 10am.  Join us for fellowship, worship, teaching, discussion, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.  

At Restoration, our primary ministry is individual disciple-making.  Every disciple makes disciples.  However, Paul reminds us in Hebrews 10:24-25 that meeting together is important for encouragement.  He says that we are to think up ways to stir one another to love and good works.  Contrary to a lot of thinking about church, we don't come together to fulfill a duty.  Also, our coming together isn't the primary means of evangelism.  We come together to encourage one another as we continue making disciples, meeting needs, and fighting the good fight of faith.  We do this primarily by meeting together in homes and other places for worship, prayer, communion, food, fellowship, etc.  

However, once a month we all of the house churches come together to be encouraged in larger numbers.   At this First Sunday gathering, we drink coffee, tell stories, and celebrate Jesus.  We sing and hear a sermon, but we also cary our tradition of ministering to one another at our tables.  It's good!  See you then!

House to House is a training for people who want to learn how to lead or be a part of house churches. The course addresses biblical principles for reaching communities with the gospel. Ever wonder how the Church grew so quickly in the first century? Do you ever feel a burden to minister but don't have a place to do so in your current church? This training will expose you to practical, biblical methods of reaching the lost and advancing the Kingdom of God.
